The Tversky Clan | Austin Family Photographer

I have been lucky enough to photograph Jenna and Tal and their brood twice this year and was excited to capture Tal’s mom, sister, brother and two nieces as well the day before Thanksgiving. What a beautiful, dynamic family they are. And no Jenna and Tal did not have triplets. The three babies are Tal and Jenna’s twins and their brand new niece.

Quiet

The other day in the car with both boys on the way home from school.

Me: “PLEASE can you two be quiet for just five minutes?”

pause

Sam: “I am being quiet.”

Sam: “I am being quiet.”

Sam: “I AM being quiet Mommy.”

Me: guffaw laugh after I cannot keep it in any longer.

Sam: “What’s so funny Mommy?”

Black and White Film From Around the House

I got a new 35mm film camera, a Canon EOS3. I was tired of getting out of focus images and needed a film camera that had auto focus. And it is working like a charm. I am in need of an appointment at an opthaomologist’s office though. Getting old is not for sissies.

The Grethel Family | Austin Family Photographer

The Grethel family are also recent transplants from the Bay Area. I had the great fortune to photograph them on Halloween morning at Mayfield. What a warm and loving family. I loved them all, but their son especially stole my heart.

December Polaroids

Here are some polaroids of the boys and the dogs from December. The first few are playing dreidel, which the boys loved and which Ben was really good at. I was always the one with no gelt at the end : (

These were taken with the Polaroid 600SE and the Contax 645 with a polaroid back.
