We spent a great deal of Memorial Day weekend with two sisters, one of whom was in Ben’s first grade class. They were moving to Ohio and their parents needed to pack, so we took the girls to the pool, out for dinner, to the park etc. They are so very sweet.
I photographed Julia’s Bat Mitzvah party earlier this month and as I was going through all of the images I was struck by these two. I think she looks stunning in them. I can almost get a glimpse of the amazing woman I am certain she will become. Mazel Tov Julia.
On a cold January weekend I met with Amanda and Ivan for the first time at a coffee shop in Austin. They live in New York and had come for the weekend to do some wedding planning. I liked them immediately and it was one of those meetings that you leave with your fingers crossed, hoping they will book you. It was such a beautiful wedding and their families are so warm and full of love that I left the evening feeling that all is right with the world. I cannot say that as often as I would like. Amanda and Ivan are very special people and I wish them a long, happy and healthy life together.

Here is Maggie laying on her new bed in my new office. She is supervising my work and making sure I catch up on all that I am so behind on after having been sick all last week. She is working me like a dog. Okay I had to say it, I could not resist.
