There are not many people I truly admire, but Evalyn is one of them. She has a heart of gold and more optimism and strength than anyone I have ever known. So I was thrilled to recently photograph her for a project she is working on. Evalyn is not only an accomplished triathlete, teacher at our local Y and mom to two amazing teenagers, she is also a Cancer survivor. If I could be one tenth as amazing as she is, I would be happy.
