About fifteen months before this birth I did another of Dan and Kristen's births. So when I walked in the room of the same hospital with the same doula (the fabulous Sara Ballard) , nurse and doctor I could not help but ask, " Didn't we just do this?" We did have a few new additions to the cast—Kristen's sister and a very funny anesthesiologist. Since this is the last of the Turpin children, this will be the last birth story, but I cannot wait to watch these children grow.
