This is my friend Ilana who helped me out at a recent wedding. She is a gifted photo journalist and a great person. I love this photo because it is so evocative of my life right now. 'Tis the season of busy photographers. I could also extrapolate on its meaning—a photographer is in the action, but not necessarily of it—but I am too tired and that is too deep for me right now.
