A few years ago I photographed a bat mitzvah in California and I met another photographer who was photographing the family of the other girl, who was also having her ceremony at the same time. Her name was Susan and, even though we had little time together that day, we clicked instantly. Over the last three years we have kept in touch and when we went to California this summer, I asked her to shoot a wedding with me and she asked me to photograph her family. So we got to spend more time together and I really enjoyed getting to know her better, as well as her two beautiful daughters, her boyfriend Jamie and, of course, her three canines.
