Copenhagen Part One

In October Josh and I went to Copenhagen. I had not been to Europe since my last long stay in France about thirteen years ago. It was SO good to be back. And Copenhagen is beautiful. I mostly walked around and sat in cafes reading my book. Josh had to work much of the time, but we did get to putz around town a bit and have some dinners out. It was a lovely break. My parents flew out to take care of the kids while we were gone, which was such a gift. When we got home not only were the kids in one piece, but the laundry was done, the linen closet was reorganized, the cabinets had been lined, I could go on and on and on. My parents are amazing. Copenhagen is a HUGE biking city. Everyone rides bikes, even grandmothers. And they have the best contraptions for hauling kids and cargo. I was captivated by the bikes. We have one I use to take Ben to school and soccer and a few other errands in, so I was very curious to see what they were using. So you will see many photos of bikes, coffee and beer. What can I say? It is what I like.
