A friend of mine who I used to work with was at a staff retreat yesterday and sent me an e-mail. I wrote back that the reason I work at home is to save myself (and frankly those around me) from the likes of staff retreats and office politics. It's safer for everyone involved this way. But with the corgis demanding attention, Ben wanting his needs met and the various support personnel needed to help run this crazy family such as babysitters and housecleaners, who am I kidding? We have office politics up the wazoo. And no healthcare. Maybe I should rethink this. No, I like wearing my pajamas while working too much.
